Saturday night we had a wonderful Chinese New Year celebration with some wonderful friends and family! We went to a large Chinese restaurant about an hour away and were able to meet up with some of our travel mates; Tom, Vicki, Izzy, and Lily for dinner. We also enjoyed the evening with our dear friends the Wagner's and Tim's mom and step dad. It was a great night to hand out red envelopes to the kids and to celebrate Julia's, Gabe's, and Lily's birth country and heritage. Not to mention I was able to get my fill of dumplings!!!!
On a side note, some bloggy friends are heading out tomorrow to pick up their baby girl who is waiting for them in China~please send up some prayers for safe and easy travel for them! Kristi and Ian-Have a blessed trip to your sweet girl! I can't wait to follow your journey!
