Fun on the Farm!

I first heard about Lewis' a couple of years ago when a fellow teacher suggest that we take our first grade classes there for a fall field trip. They have farm market, apple orchards, pumpkin fields, and the cleanest petting zoo I have ever seen! So, Sunday we decided to take a family day to the farm...and wow did the kids have a blast...even the big kids!

They had so many kids activities all centered around farming and then some just for fun activities.

It was a great family day! We spent 4 hrs there and could have spent at least 2 more! We got to pick our own apples (Amanda had never seen an apple tree) and do the largest corn maze I have ever seen (took us about an hour to walk it!). I love building those memories for my kids!! Happy harvest!

Looks like a great day! Now that our temps have dipped into the low 80s, I can start to wrap my mind around us taking our yearly family trip to the pumpkin patch too!
