Hague! And stimulused!?

Ok you have no idea what the word "Hague" means. Here is Wikipedia's definition:

The Hague Conference on Private International Law, an international treaty organization that oversees a series of dozens of conventions drawn up from the early 1900s through the present day aiming to rationalize certain aspects of civil law between signatories. The various conventions deal with the recognition of marriages performed in another country, international child abduction, international adoption, international service of process in civil actions, recognition of other countries' official documents, and the rationalization of some financial laws, among numerous other issues. One of the better known of these is Convention #12, the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement for Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents. For a list of the various Hague Conventions see List of Hague Conventions on Private International Law.

Basically it makes sure that Children are not being taken advantage of for our purposes-International Adoption (ie baby stealing, selling etc.). Anyway, since China and the Us are Hague countries, we were required to complete a 10 hours of training-8 of which is online. Tim and I completed ours a little over a week ago and it said that it would take 4-6 weeks to get the certificate. Ann said she needs the certificate for her homestudy...(I thought, "great something else that takes over a month to get back!") Well, guess what was in today's mail!? Our certificates!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe everything will be nice and speedy like this!?

We were also Stimulized yesterday! Yahoo! As my uncle said-as working taxpayers, we are bound to have to pay it back at some point, but for now I am liking that cash! We stimulized JerBud's automotive for car repairs, bought a trampoline, and the rest will help us bring our sweet girl home!
