Since we recieved Gabe's referral we were a little confused about his chinese name. The majority of his doccuments had his name as Su Shulu, but on his pictures it was Su Xulu. We went with the Shulu as it was on most of the important ones. Last week we sent Gabe a care package and Ann of "Red Thread" (the company who sent our package) called the SWI and found that it is indeed Xu Lu! (She was so worried she had the wrong kid when she called-LOL)Well, after further digging the "X" in chinese is pronounced "Sh" in english. So either way is technically correct. Now I need to check with our SW to see what version I need to be putting on all our important doccuments??? If it is Xulu I need to call our travel agency and have them change their form-we don't want him not to be able to get on the plane to come home because his name is wrong on his ticket!!!
Here is the care package we had sent to Gabe. The El*mo is for him, the candy is for the nannies, the camer is hoping they will take picutres of him and give us the camera when we pick him up, and a letter thanking the SWI for all the care they have given our son along with words of love for Gabe (translated into chinese of course). Yes, there are a few different business' in China that will send care packages for us americans to their babies waiting for them in China. Ann of Red Thread is great! So caring!
If anyone is wondering...we have been waiting 43 days for LOA. I figure we have at least 30 more days to go before I begin freaking out!

Adorable! Glad you have the name answered and especially that you found Ann and your care package is on the way. Doesn't it warm your heart to know that his SWI will know he has a family. Have a great weekend while getting three more days closer to LOA!
