Reflections

Happy New Year! I thought that I would post some ofour highlights, favorites, and/or important happenings for us in 2008. Where does the time go? I can't believe that this year Jordan turned 9 and Jay 5!

* In March we decided to act on our dream of adoption. Most of the year was a hurry up and wait and our paperchase ended in Dec. Now we just wait...

*In July, Dad was diagnosed with a brain tuomor. Most of July and part of Aug. was spent in the hospital and helping him to adujust at home.

*We had a couple of small vacations this summer. Late June the kids and I went to visit Lucy in the UP (the worst car trip of my life). In August we went to Wisconsin to visit Tim's mom-enjoyed our first major league baseball game! And in Sept. we had my cousin Sarah's wedding in Fort Wayne.

*In Sept. Dad officially made Janice a Danielson! What a great ending to our summer!

*Also in Sept. we all started back to school-Jordan 3rd, Jay Kindergarten, and I finally graduated to 1st grade this year!!!

*In Oct. we went on our annual color tour to Sleeping Bear Dunes. We got some wonderful pictueres, but man was it cold! We also recieved our longgggggg awaited 797c from the USCIS!

*Nov. and Dec. were filled with a lot of family time, a DTC date, and our LID!

Here are a few highlights of our 2008 in picutes (not necessarily in cronological order...):

The kids at the 4th of July parade.

The Danielson familly's first Chinese cultural celebration-The Autumn Moon Festival. We celebrated with our friends the Wagners at China Buffet.
