The Fort!

A little background here: 2 years ago, the kids bought Poppies a fort/tree house book. Over that winter and spring the kids and Poppies picked out the stockade fort to build, well that summer Poppies got sick and the fort did not happen. This winter Poppies told the kids that this summer with daddies help they would start the fort and we even started buying lumber.
So, that brings us to this weekend. Everyone esp. Janice really wanted the kids to have their fort as Poppies was very excited about doing it for the kids and it was a project that he could not finish. Well, Janice has a very talented and wonderful Niece and Nephew (Bill and Julie) who drove across the state (4 hrs) to build the kids fort! Bill the builder as we affectionately call him now, worked all day Friday (with Tim's help in the afternoon) and in the cold and rain all day on Saturday to finish this fort! In our book he is the greatest! We have been beyond blesses to expand our family with grandma Janice and to get her family in the package :-)
