This morning Gabe inhaled another great breakfast that included bacon, fried ham, and his favorite...cherry tomatoes! The breakfast buffet here is really great, but we are so sick of buffets! I just want a bowl of my Special K or peanut butter toast! One family that is here with us adopted a 5 yr old little girl and she has started to flag down the waittresses to clear her plates! Our poor children think that life with their new parents is living in hotel rooms, going to walks all the time (in the stroller) and eating at buffets! Not sure what our little man is going to think when all their is for breakfast is toaster waffles, cereal, and toast!? Thanks to a reccomendation from Kristi I ordered the broccoli at Lucy's last night and I got a few, but guess who ate most of it (and this was a huge plate of cooked broccoli)? Yup-Gabe! We put a little soy sauce on it and he mowed!
This morning he was his rambunctious self and wanted to wrestle on the bed. This is new to him and he was really leary of this a few days ago. Now he loves to play on the bed and get tickled! He really likes it when Baba does what we call "baby ups" with him. He counts "one, twooo, free-upa!" And Tim lifts him up. So cute!
This AM we went for a nice long walk (there was a breeze and it made it bearable) and went into this little park down the road. They were having all sorts of fun things going on. One being a talent show or performance of some type. We saw 2 acts-one was a man singing and we thought he looked and sounded more native American than Chinese. And then a lady who sang a very high pitched opera with some fan dancers behind her. Tim likes to call it "China has talent" performance?? There was a TV type camera and a judging table.
We then walked through the park and down the river and saw people young and old playing games, singing, practicing fan dances, hacky sack-you name it. It was a neat culture walk. To me-it was way to hot to do much of anything out side...
We let Gabe get out and play on this mini-playground that had a lot of adult exercise equipment. He loved the slide. I can't wait to take him to the marina playground. He needs to run and play as his legs are a little wobbly yet and you can tell he just doesn't have the muscle tone. I know that Jordan and Jay will play a lot with their little brother outside!
Still praying for our friends the Bilby's. Their faith is seeing them through this trial and I know God's grace is carrying them. We hope to find out this afternoon what Jada's x-ray results are. God will wrap his arms around them and little Jada. They have become so dear to us-Jada is our little mei mei :-)

3. A group of school children out on their recess. The primary school here is suppose to be one of the best in China. No playground for these kids. As we walked by-their teacher went inside and they all started to wave at me :-)
